Wall Storage is generally defined as a system of floor to ceiling cupboards, consisting of shelves, sometimes drawers, set against a wall or occasionally free standing. The primary job of wall storage is to store every day and archive filing, stationery, coats and much more.
Most Bookcases are large, free standing pieces of furniture and feature multiple shelves. Typically, these shelves are on full view and can be either adjustable or fixed height. If doors are fitted then these would usually be glass, protecting the books from dust and moisture but also allowing the spine of the book to be read.
